June 25, 2006 The video/DVDs from our March 2006 seminar are now available! Three new lectures are now available: Charlotte's "Immanuel: God With Us" is a 42 minute presentation of Biblical exegesis and real life illustrations, that delves into the Biblical uses of the name Immanuel, Hebrew for "God with us," and draws out essential insights, both for emotional healing, and more broadly, for the life of Christian discipleship. Karl's 2 lectures are bundled together in a two VHS or two DVD set, entitled: " Immanuel, An Especially Pernicious Blockage, & The Normal Belief Memory System: Parts I & II." For a description, see the Store listing. Some of the slides used to illustrate these lectures are really powerful -- worth getting the set just for them.

January 20, 2006 The new Website Document Search Engine! After many years of receiving requests for one, we are now able to provide a search function for the growing number of documents on our website. So, if you're wondering, "What have they got about depression?" or "Which essay had that example of when Karl got his head slammed in the car trunk?" - don't ask us! Not that we wouldn't want to be helpful, but with over 700 pages of material on the site, we lose track ourselves sometimes. Instead, simply type "trunk" (without the quotation marks) into the search box and hit Enter on your keyboard or click on the Search button with your mouse. Voilà! The articles containing the word "trunk" appear in a list, and the search engine tells you on which pages of the document the word was found. The footnotes are also included in the search - which is great, because if you've read many of our articles, you know that we often include useful information, references, caveats, perspective, etc. in the footnotes. We hope this tool will help you find what you're looking for as efficiently as possible.

January 20, 2006 Website Registration
We are continuing to offer this large body of written material for free download, but we would like to know more about who is using it :) . And, we'd like to be able to contact those who use our material once in a while, even if they haven't chosen to be on our regular eNewsletter list. So, we've instituted a quick, easy, and free registration process. There are a few articles that may be downloaded without registering (marked with the blue check symbol), but for the rest, you'll need to register first.
I (Charlotte) have been experimenting with it during the testing process, and I'm really happy with the system our web-designer has developed. You will need to allow cookies from our site to register and login, but once you register, you're automatically logged in. If you don't logout before you leave the site, then the site recognizes you when you return, using the same computer. You'll see "Welcome [your name], if this is not you click here" in the upper right hand corner area, and you're already logged in - no extra steps necessary. You can go ahead and search for and download documents to your heart's content. (If your heart is not content at that point, well, we really didn't mean to say that downloading documents was a good cure for discontent, but for suggested next steps on that, you might try reading some of the documents... OK, enough silliness.)
If you access the site from a public computer (such as at a library or school computer lab), you can login when you visit the site using your email address and the password you choose during registration. Be sure to logout before you leave the site, so that no one else using that computer at a later time can change your registration information.
You'll also be able to use the My Info link at the top of any page on the site to keep your information updated, and to subscribe or unsubscribe yourself from the eNewsletter list.
Finally, you'll read during the registration process that we're NOT going to be giving your name and/or address to anyone else, NOR are we going to deluge you with mailings, either electronic or regular mail. See our Privacy Statement for details.

December 21, 2005 The "Immanuel, Emotional Healing, & Capacity: Parts I & II" videos/DVDs are finally completed, and will be at CARE Packaging for distribution by early to mid-January 2006 (see the Store page for more details). These two lectures, along with a portion of a live ministry session which illustrates some of the lecture content, were presented at a half-day seminar in Bolingbrook, Illinois, in October of 2005. We really appreciate all the folks who came out for the live video-taping, and helped us put the program together. It's exciting material, and we're very happy to now be able to send it out to the many people who have been asking about it, and the many who tell us they'd love to come to our seminars, but are prevented from traveling by various life circumstances.
